Not only is Kylie a professional dancer and actor she is also a certified BIKRAM YOGA TEACHER.
Kylie found BIKRAM YOGA in Sydney in 2001. She began taking classes to improve her strength and flexibility and enhance her performing career.

In 2003, while dancing in the United States she tore two discs in her neck. She was not able to lift her chin off her chest for 6 months, she could not even walk as the motion of swinging her arms caused tremendous pain throughout her body. Basic things like sleeping and dressing were not easy tasks. Not only was her career destroyed but she was devastated, her heart had been ripped out as her only passion since the age of 3 was taken from her.
Kylie saw numerous Chiropractors and Physiotherapists and saw no relief for months. Her state of mind was in pieces... "What am I going to do now???" It wasn't until she remembered one of her BIKRAM TEACHERS saying that "BIKRAM YOGA is good for healing old wounds both physically and mentally".
With that in the back of her mind she thought it was worth a shot. She stumbled back into a class and gave it a go. She wasn't able to do everything as she couldn't lift her arms above her head or even turn her head from side to side. But slowly (through patience and determination) Kylie was able to heal her neck through her BIKRAM PRACTICE and with the help of her fantastic Osteo, Michael Solano. (click to view recommendation)
Not only did Kylie heal her neck, she became stronger and more flexible than before. The greatest benefits Kylie received from BIKRAM YOGA was a deep sense of calmness, more confidence, a clearer mind, more determination and a leaner more toned body!!!
Kylie then knew she was meant to follow the BIKRAM path.
Kylie married in 2006 and then 6 months later went to Los Angeles and embarked on the hardest, the most challenging and the most life changing thing she has ever done... The BIKRAM YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE!!!
Kylie received approval from Bikram to open her own studio, Bikram Yoga Capalaba - Brisbane Bayside and is very excited to share this yoga with as many people as she can. If we can all improve and make little changes within ourselves we can help to improve and make a more peaceful world.
Kylie would like to thank her husband Jesse and her Mother and Father for their continuous love and support. Without their help she wouldn't be where she is today... I Love you all xxx
